Haverhill Hub opens in temporary home
A Banking Hub in Haverhill has opened in its temporary home inside Haverhill Library on Camps Road.
The temporary Hub will be open five days a week and will remain available until the new permanent Banking Hub opens. It offers a counter service operated by the Post Office, where customers of all major banks can carry out regular cash transactions, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. It also offers a Community Banker service where customers can talk to their own bank about more complicated issues on the day their bank is in the Hub:
Monday: HSBC (am only)
Tuesday: NatWest
Wednesday: Lloyds
Thursday: Santander
Friday: Barclays
While the Temporary Hub is up and running today, Cash Access UK are carrying out work on the permanent home for the Banking Hub located at Unit 1, The Chauntry Centre, Haverhill. The team will provide updates on this work and the temporary Hub opening today will remain open until the permanent Hub is up and running. Local residents can also check for updates on our website.
This will be the first Banking Hub to open in Suffolk with four more hubs planned for Hadleigh, Woodbridge, Mildenhall, and Leiston.
Gareth Oakley, CEO at Cash Access UK: “I’m happy to announce that our temporary Banking Hub in Haverhill is now open while we carry out necessary work on the Permanent Hub. The team are working hard to get the Permanent Hub up and running and will provide updates on our progress.”
