Holt welcomes a new banking hub
A new banking hub for Holt has opened a temporary home in The Venue Community Centre on Kerridge Way.
This is the fourth banking hub to open in Norfolk following Watton, Downham Market and Harleston. There are two more hubs planned for Wymondham and Thetford.
The hub offers a counter service operated by the Post Office, where customers of all major banks can carry out regular cash transactions, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. It also offers a community banker service where customers can talk to their own bank about more complicated issues on the day their bank is in the hub:
Monday: NatWest
Tuesday: TSB
Wednesday: Barclays
Thursday: Santander
Friday: Lloyds
While the hub in Holt is up and running today, Cash Access UK can confirm it is currently working to secure a long term home for the banking hub which will offer the same services. Local residents can check for updates on our website.
Gareth Oakley, CEO at Cash Access UK: “I’m happy to announce that the new banking hub in Holt is now open in the Venue Community Centre, giving local residents renewed access to cash and in-person banking services. The hub is available for everyday banking transactions every day of the week, and for more specific or complex enquiries, a community banker will be on-site to assist on designated days.”
Steff Aquarone Member of Parliament for North Norfolk: “I am delighted that the banking hub in Holt is now open. Work towards finding a permanent home are progressing. Thank you to everyone who supported the campaign to bring this about. I am certain this will be a huge asset for Holt and the surrounding area.”
