Huntly banking hub opens
A new banking hub in Huntly has opened in a temporary home inside the Huntly Travel Hub at 11 Deveron Street.
The hub will be open five days a week and will remain available until it opens at its permanent home. It offers a counter service operated by the Post Office, where customers of all major banks can carry out regular cash transactions, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. It also offers a community banker service where customers can talk to their own bank about more complicated issues on the day their bank is in the hub:
Monday: No Community Banker available
Tuesday: Royal Bank of Scotland
Wednesday: TSB
Thursday: Barclays (9:30am - 04:30pm)
Friday: No Community Banker available
While the hub is up and running today, Cash Access UK can confirm it is currently working to secure a permanent home for the banking hub. Local residents can check for updates on our website.
Last week, Cash Access UK opened the 100th banking hub. Huntly’s banking hub is the 14th to open in Scotland with a further 11 in progress.
Gareth Oakley, CEO at Cash Access UK: “I’m pleased to share that the new banking hub in Huntly is now open at its temporary location, giving local residents renewed access to cash and in-person banking services. The hub is available to customers of all major banks for everyday transactions each day of the week. For more complex enquiries, a community banker from a specific bank will be on-site to assist account holders on designated days in rotation.”
