Mablethorpe Banking Hub opens in permanent home
Mablethorpe’s Banking Hub has opened in its permanent location at 78 Seacroft Road. The official opening will take place between on 8th November between 11am and 12pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Hub will continue to offer a counter service operated by the Post Office, where customers of all major banks can carry out regular cash transactions, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. It will also offer a Community Banker service where customers can talk to their own bank about more complicated issues on the day their bank is in the Hub. Community Bankers will work on rotation, with a different bank available on each day of the week:
Monday: NatWest
Tuesday: Lloyds
Wednesday: HSBC am/Santander pm
Thursday: Halifax
Friday: Barclays
Since June, a temporary Hub has been serving the community from inside the Community Learning in Partnership (CLIP), also on Seacroft Road. The temporary Hub is now closed.
Gareth Oakley, CEO at Cash Access UK: “I'm delighted that the permanent Banking Hub in Mablethorpe is now open, and I would like to thank all the teams involved in this project. We’re proud to be helping many communities with new services, as access to cash and face-to-face banking services are vital to both residents and businesses across the community.
“Customers can visit on any day of the week for their everyday banking transactions and if you have a specific or more complex enquiry for your bank, a community banker will be there to help on the day they’re in the Hub.”
