Market Weighton banking hub opens

A new banking hub for Market Weighton has opened in its temporary home in the Scouts Group building.

The hub offers a counter service operated by the Post Office, where customers of all major banks can carry out regular cash transactions, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. It also offers a Community Banker service where customers can talk to their own bank about more complicated issues on the day their bank is in the hub: 

Monday: NatWest

Tuesday: No Community banker

Wednesday: HSBC

Thursday: Halifax (from 20 March)

Friday: Barclays

While the hub in Market Weighton is up and running today, Cash Access UK can confirm it is currently working to secure a long term home for the banking hub which will offer the same services. Local residents can check for updates on our website. 

With the opening of the Market Weighton hub, there are now six hubs open in East Riding of Yorkshire, following Cottingham, Hessle, Hornsea, Newland and Withernsea.
