Stone temporary Banking Hub opens
A new banking hub for Stone has opened in its temporary home. The hub is located at the Frank Jordan Community Centre and will provide local residents and businesses with basic banking and cash services.
The temporary Hub will be open five days a week and will remain available until the new permanent Banking Hub opens. It offers a counter service operated by the Post Office, where customers of all major banks can carry out regular cash transactions, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. It also offers a Community Banker service where customers can talk to their own bank about more complicated issues on the day their bank is in the Hub:
Monday: NatWest
Tuesday: HSBC (soon)
Wednesday: Santander
Thursday: Lloyds (from Sep 2024)
Friday: Barclays
While the temporary Hub is up and running today, Cash Access UK can confirm it is continuing to progress the permanent home for the Banking Hub. In the coming months, they will provide updates and the temporary Hub will remain open until the permanent Hub opens. Local residents can also check for updates on our website.
Gareth Oakley, CEO at Cash Access UK: “I’m delighted to announce that we have opened the temporary Banking Hub in Stone. We are working hard to progress the permanent home for the Hub and are looking forward to sharing positive news on its location soon.”
