Community Bankers will work on rotation, with a different bank or building society available on each day of the week:
Monday: Nationwide

Finding the right location for a Banking Hub that is convenient, accessible and works for everyone often takes time so Cash Access UK is delighted to have been able to secure a convenient premise within the heart of the community. This development is a significant step forward in bringing a Banking Hub to Welling.
The team at Cash Access UK are now working hard to fit out the new premises and will update the community on progress and an opening date as soon as they can. The Welling Banking Hub page will provide updates as works progress.
Welling was recommended to receive a Banking Hub after LINK, the UK’s cash access and cash machine network, identified the need for enhanced cash deposit services following a community request from Cllr Baroness O’Neill of Bexley OBE, Leader of the London Borough of Bexley.
Gareth Oakley, CEO, Cash Access UK: “Having access to cash services is vital for millions of people in the UK, therefore we are delighted to announce we have secured a location for the Banking Hub in Welling. We look forward to supporting local people and businesses with cash services.”
Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford: “The Welling Banking Hub will be invaluable to the local community and businesses when it opens, supporting those especially who rely on cash and face-to-face banking. Securing a location for the Hub is a great step forward for the community, and I look forward to a successful future.”
Cllr Baroness O’Neill of Bexley OBE, Leader of the London Borough of Bexley: “This is fantastic news for Welling. I know from speaking to residents and businesses that, although so many access online banking, there is still a very real need for banking services on our high streets. That is exactly why I made the original request to LINK. It’s great that we have been successful and that we will soon see six of the major banks back in Welling ready with face to face help. We never forget how important our high streets are to our borough. It will be great to welcome this new facility and I hope this is just the first hub of several that we will see in Bexley.”
